Check your internet connection and disable any antivirus and firewall software. If that has no effect, then this error means, that your PKey is damaged by third-party tool and is dead. It cannot be revived or exchanged by warranty. You need to purchase another one.

Please don't post on forum the same again and again. Damaged PKeys cannot be restored.

There is no way to prevent PKey from being killed by malicious software and that comes from smartcard security architecture. That does not depend on developers.
